The whole point of a ‘boiler room’ scheme is to keep it going and you under pressure / still hoping it might be true despite your doubts.
Although a little bit of hope always remains, you should get it straight as soon as possible:
Your money is and will be gone.
A few things I can tell you from my own bad experience (as it was too late in the end):
- There is no Derwent Investments office at 61 Robinson Road, Singapore 068893.
There is a nice large business building, but the receptionists have never heard of the company, nor is there a sign.
Google Maps locates it even at 57 Robinson Rd, Singapore 068890, although that’s not the registered address (but there is certainly also no sign of them). - There is no ABE Technology office at Unit C, 8F, Gemstar Tower, 23 Man Lok Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon City, Hong Kong, 37170.
There is a – not so shiny – office building, but no sign of ABE at the 8th floor. - All 3 companies (Derwent Investments, ABE Technology and SDM International) are most probably just a few of the internet / email addresses of fake companies that are operated by a few fraudulent people with convincing voices from somewhere in the world.
- It isn’t possible to meet Ed Chandler in person. There is always a (good) excuse why it doesn’t work out in the end, although it always seems understandable or your fault. He – and presumably the others – is a ghost / stolen identity operating from somewhere, probably not Singapore, but in European time zone.
- As soon as it’s clear that there’s no more money coming from you – even ‘comparably’ small sums – that come up in the end game by Paul Decker – there are no more call-backs, they just don’t respond anymore.
That’s the sad truth, although no one from Derwent Investments will ever tell you this.
They will rather want to make you believe: If you only would continue with the next payment that has to be done because of unforeseeable reasons out of their control, you would be rewarded with excessive returns.
Or, as Ed and Paul keep answering regarding your doubts and requests for proofs: “The proof is in the pudding” – Pay just a little bit more… That’s only a small percentage of what you invested already, do you really want to risk this?
And they will keep your little bit of hope always alive…
